Running the t\u014dge (mountain pass) is a real test for any street racer. The road is narrow, rough, and offers little visibility. It demands practice, discipline, and some basic rules to keep things safe for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First of all, make sure your car is in good mechanical condition. A check-up of the tires, brakes, lights, and alignment is the bare minimum to reduce the risk of mechanical failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, you have to Know the road. The T\u014dge changes all the time : fallen leaves, cracks, potholes, wet patches... Always do a scout run before increasing the rythm. You gotta know where the danger\u2019s hiding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Focus is crucial. That means no loud music, no distracting passenger, especially if you don\u2019t fully know the route. You need your full attention on the road, your lines, other cars, wild animals, and whatever else might jump out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the t\u014dge, there's far less room for error than on a track. You need to adapt your pace to the road and conditions, and never cut blind corners, because you never know what might be coming the other way. Ideally, spotters should be placed at certain corners to warn of any oncoming traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fewer people the better. Big crowds mean more distractions, more heat, and more chances for things to go wrong. That\u2019s why you never share t\u014dge spots publicly. If you run with others, make sure it\u2019s with people you trust: DRIVERS who know the rules and respect the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, respect is a core value of t\u014dge driving. Respect the mountain. Respect other drivers. Respect the locals and the road itself. The road belongs to everyone, and the goal is not to be seen as a public nuisance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
