C-West builds this Civic Type R as a dedicated racing car for the Central Circuit Challenge Cup GT class rather than as a shop demonstrator. The shop abandons the usual practice of stripping a street car and starts from a bare frame, mounting only what a race car needs, so the aero parts it develops are proven by the racing programme they come from.
